Become a Loeb Scholar

Applications are now being accepted for the 2010 class of Loeb Scholars. Applicants must be Jewish high school students from the Chicago metropolitan area, which proven academic achievement. Applications should be sent to: TLC of Northbrook, 2095 Landwehr Rd, Suite 101, Northbrook, IL 60062, attn: Loeb Scholars, and must be received by September 20, 2010. If you are able to electronically scan your application, you may submit it by e-mail to apply@loebscholars.org.

Scholars must commit to attending an eight week seminar, which meets once a week on Monday nights, beginning October 18, 2010 at 6:30pm. These seminars will be taught by individuals active in the JUF, Hillel, JCC, ADL, Ark and/or other Chicago Jewish community projects. The curriculum will include study and a group project planned and implemented by the scholars.
